Consumers are increasingly aware of how their choices impact the environment. Many are now looking for products and services that help reduce their ecological footprint. But as our survey shows, consumers concerns around environment are not equal and vary greatly depending on age-bracket and income.
Those earning over £80k per year are the most concerned about their household's impact on the environment, along with Millennials. These groups are the most likely to tailor their spending to meet these concerns.
Sustainable spending
The height of the cost-of-living crisis saw consumers' willingness to spend more on sustainable goods and services wane. However, with inflation easing our survey shows sentiment towards sustainable spending has improved by 4% on average when compared to last year.
